Cowtown

Our first adventure in Wichita was to the Old Cowtown Museum. It was hot outside but we had a good time. Cowtown is an open air museum, there were horse drawn wagon rides and even a shootout at the old Saloon. Benjamin, to my surprise, loved driving the wagon.

Botanica

The boys and I spent an afternoon walking thru the flower and butterfly gardens at Botanica. The smell was wonderful and so peaceful even with two little boys!!!

Benjamin in the Zoo!!!!

It's a rare occasion when the brown bears are active.

I am not sure I can count how many times Benjamin has been to the zoo. When we arrived at the Zoo it was 69 outside and Benjamin was literally shivering!!!! It turned out to be a very nice day once it warmed up a bit.

This was Will's first trip to the Sedgwick County Zoo, we had a great day for the Zoo.

PlayGROUND!!!

During our stay at the TLF there was a lovely playground that the boys loved. Will loved running and going in circles and Benjamin liked climbing up the slides and climbing the arc ladder.

Exploration Place

On Tuesday, I took the boys to Exploration Place...a hands on place for kids and adults. Both boys enjoyed the childrens area the most. They had a castle to play in and many different rooms within the castle to explore. The Thomas the Train was by far the most exciting though. To Wills dismay when I told him we were going to play at the castle, he was a bit miffed we were not at the "Magic Castle."
