Great Day for a Picnic!!

Friday the weather here was very nice, at least in the morning and early afternoon. I decided to take the boys outside and have a picnic for lunch. Zach looked so cute in his big boy jeans and shoes. Will was wearing "big boy" underwear while we were outside and Benjamin was just being Benjamin. I bought his shirt special for his kindergarten screening. He does love the rhinoceros beetle after all (thanks to our insect cards we even rhinoceros beetle). I have had a truly great week home with the boys even with all of our day to day ups and downs!!

Benjamin

Although Benjamin is not a huge fan of getting his picture taken he has been doing a lot lately. This past Friday he received his hearing aid and to everyones shock he is tolerating it in his ear. I am not sure exactly what he hears and does not but I am trying to help him as much as I can. He has been having a difficult time the past week or so with his temper but we are quickly calming that and helping him cope. The suspect cause may be the hearing as he is hearing so many new sounds he is having a difficult time processing everything. This summer my "summer project" is going to be starting a gluten free/casein free diet with Benjamin. Many things that I have read say it will become a lifesytle but I will be the first to admidt right now I feel very overwhelmed. My mother will help me a lot I think thru this period but I am still very nervous because I feel very undereducated!! I hope we see some changes and we will keep everyone posted!!

Will...

Will is our very active little boy. As Bryan says he is 2 & 1/2 going on 20. He loves to sing and dance, play any sort of sport that involves a ball, be it baseball, bowling (although the pins we have make wonderful baseball bats!), tennis and his newest favorite - golf. He loves race cars and bikes. He is all boy!! Yet he helps me cook dinners and loves to help take care of Zachary. We are hitting the whole potty training issue pretty hard right now, and I am hoping in the next few months to have success. Hoping and Praying!!! Will has a beautiful smile and is such a great big kid!!
