Newport Aquarium

Today we went to the Newport Aquarium for "family time" aka kids get in free. We all had a great time - my favorite was the baby sharks - I have never seen a shark that small before. Will liked "frog bog" and Benjamin liked going from tank to tank to tank to tank. He was hard to keep still. Zach stayed in the Bjorn the entire time and had fun looking at everything!!!

I'm a happy guy!!

Well actually all three boys have been doing fairly well. Will had a rough start to the week with a double ear infection- nothing another round of abx can't help. Benjamin has not had school or anything else this week causing him to be a bit backwards. Zach is showing off his two teeth and overall he has been so happy lately! He is such a joy everyday!! The picture of Will is him wearing Bryans boots last Friday night when he got home from Atlanta. Big shoes to fill!

Zach is crawling!

Zachary has been mobile for a few weeks now. He can crawl with the best of them and tries to keep up with his big brothers! Zach also has 2 teeth now. Both on the bottom. The bottom right came in first followed by the bottom left. It seems crazy that he is 7 months old now!! Hope you enjoy the squeals in the video!!

Miles of smiles

I think one of the best things about being a mother is watching your little ones smile. Tonight we were playing outside and everyone had such big smiles, I had to grab the camera. Zach hung out in his new exersaucer tonight and had a blast. He also got to swing a little too. Benjamin had fun twirling on the swing and looking for ants. Will jsut wanted to play chase!! He loves to run. Everyone loves being outdoors and we are so glad the weather was nice today!

Other moments from our week

The past week or two have been quite busy in the Collins household. Obviously we had Zach Baptized and Benjamin had preschool graduation but I started a new job in a hospital. I am currently working 3 days per week and it is a nice balance in life. On top of all the activity, we have been having a great time together, trying to enjoy the weather outside. Last night we decided to have a cookout just about the time a tornado warning was issued for our area. No worries, we had no twisters, just a little hail, but daddy was a trooper and cooked our burgers to perfection even with the falling balls of ice. Benjamin was quite intrigued by these balls of ice and even sampled the hail, he does LOVE ice! In the midst of everything, Zach is growing each and every day. He is on his third round of antibiotics for another ear infection. He can sit up by himself now and much prefers that position to anything else. He loves his baby food and is starting to eat people food, crackers etc.

Preschool Graduation

Today was Benjamin's last day of preschool. Today was supposed to be water play day, but when its 60 degrees and raining outside, all the activites were moved inside. I think the last day was harder for mommy than Benjamin, it was bitter sweet day in my book. Benjamin had a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Dahl, for two years, I think she knew him as well as I do. I am sure we will have many great teachers along the way, but I will certianly miss his entire preschool team!! At graduation, the class sang some of their favorite songs, Mr. Sun and Firetruck. They also read the story Rumble in the jungle and the kids were all the different animals, Benjamin was a snake.

Zachary is baptized

Well as most of you know, we had Zachary baptized a couple of weeks ago now. He did wonderfully during the ceremony (he loves water!). Thanks to Uncle John for lugging all of his camera equipment to take some pictures!!
