Benjamins 5th Birthday

We spent Benjamin's fifth birthday at the House of Mouse. As requested by Will, he started talking about riding Dumbo about 3 months ago!! The boys had a blast (so did mom and dad). Grandpa Rice and Zach came with us for the first half of the day and then Bryan and I took the big boys back after a little afternoon break (not siesta)as no one would sleep.

Boating Boys

We went out on a boat twice while we were in Florida. The harbor was pretty rough but we did OK if we stayed in the cannals. Zach went on his first boat ride and slept almost the entire time. Benjamin and Will could have gone out on a boat everyday and still not had enough. Benjamin just loved standing at the front and watching everything. Especially the birds!! Will was more mobile from here to there and everywhere!!

Spring Break

We had a great time during Benjamins Spring Break from school. We travelled to Florida to visit Grandma and Grandpa Rice. Zach had his first airplane ride and did great (despite the fact that he also had his first double ear infection). Benjamin and Will enjoyed the airplane ride as well. Once in Florida we quickly slipped into shorts and t-shirts and enjoyed the warm weather. Our first full day in Florida we headed to the beach. It was very windy and the water a bit cold but the boys had a ball. Benjamin enjoyed being buried in the sand and destroying daddys attempts at a sand castle. Will loved building and jumping into the big pit but did not enjoy the water so much. Zach just had a great time on the beach and even got his toes wet and in the sand.

Zachary has his own little spot in our family room where he can be on the floor and play and practice rolling over. He is safe and protected from the crazy big boys that he lives with!!!

Will is creative and full of new ideas everyday, I think he says "I have a good idea" everyday. In this shot will put on his hat and he was headed to work on his tricycle.

Then there is Benjamin, our beautiful mystery of a child. Next friday he will be put under in order to have a hopefully successful hearing test called and ABR (Auditory Brain Response) but we keep trying with headphones so someday he will not be sooo incredibly scared of things touching his ear. Benjamin had been sleeping with the headphones until I went into take the pictures.

The next picture is Will using hair gel just like daddy, it was actually lotion that he decided to use as hair gel!!!

This is Zach after a hard day!!!!

Snow!!!

This winter we have not seen a lot of snow but we have had a few days to play. The boys loved the sled this year even though they were only sledding down the drive way and it was mostly ice. I stayed inside with little Zach but look forward to next winter when he can go out with us!!!

2 months old and still growing

I promise I will post pictures soon - hopefully Wednesday. Zachary went to the doctor today for his 2 month checkup!!! Even the doctor was amazed at his size. He is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. He was 13.2 pounds and 24.5 inches long. He is a true joy but was not so fond of 3 shots and the new rotavirus oral vaccine!!! We will post pictures of all the boys soon!

Benjamins Art Work

Today at Benjamin's Occupational Therapy, Kylie, Benjamins therapist said 'you will never guess what Benjamin did today'. She is right have have stopped trying to guess. First (a couple of weeks ago), Benjamin wrote his name and now he is drawing pictures- mirror images!!!! Take a look!!!

Great Wolf Lodge

We decided to try Great Wolf Lodge for a night over the holidays as well. We had a great staycation and Will always wants to go back on vacation!!! The boys did very well swimming even Zach put his feet in!!!
